project. This compliance review addresses zoning
and other regulatory code issues early in a project's
planning and design. Major efforts include crafting
entire code sections and supporting them through the

few sections to respond to changing conditions or
community direction. Additionally, we augment local
government staff in performing staff assessments
through analysis, preparation of draft staff reports and

and multiple sections of other zoning and land

Services Provided: Senior advisor to a multi-disciplinary team evaluating the implications of a buildout
scenario for the city of Gulf Shores and developing alternative land development regulations to address the city’s
growth issues.

Hendry County Growth Management Plan
Services Provided: Contributing author in coordination with Regional Planning Council, facilitation of
meetings with the Board of County Commissioners, public interest groups, and county staff regarding County’s
first comprehensive plan as mandated by Florida Growth Management Act of 1985.
